The Karantina pediatric and neonatal hospital is charity project by the NGO Assameh Birth and Beyond (a life-savior-practically-free hospital created by the heroic Dr. Robert Sacy) at the service of the less fortunate. During one of my visits there for cuddling the orphan premature babies, the BBC was filming a short documentary about the work of the good doctor. The directors, Mounia Akl and Cyril Ariss caught me singing Eidelweiss while rocking a baby. They got it on film.
Pardon My French is a collaboration between Yasmina Farah Massoud and the Katastrophers. Passion for music brought Yasmina, a singer who clings to the unbeatable sound of classic songs and The Katastrophers, Ibrahim Nassar (ex. The Arcane), Karim Abi Saleh (ex. The Arcane), Dominique El Haje (@D.O.M) and Chahid Akoury, four musicians with a long history in the lebanese rock scene.
